What is CarePath?

CarePath is an at-home urinary diagnostic device that captures objective, real-world urinary and symptom data and securely delivers results to the provider to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and post-treatment assessment.

Patients simply urinate through the device in their home environment, enabling collection of more representative urinary data while reducing reliance on in-office testing and patient symptom recall.

Clinical Insight: Real-World Evidence

Key Clinical Findings

> 1,000
men evaluated using CarePath

Only 6.6%
demonstrated isolated low-flow

Mixed LUTS phenotypes
commonly identified

(e.g., overactive bladder,
nocturia, nocturnal polyuria,
or combinations thereof)

"Watts and colleagues present data from over 1,000 men evaluated with CarePath, a remote multi-day urinary diagnostics (RMUD) platform. Their key finding: only 6.6% of men had isolated low-flow. The rest showed mixed phenotypes—overactive bladder, nocturia, nocturnal polyuria, or combinations thereof. This confirms what we have long suspected: male LUTS is not synonymous with BPH, and treating it as such yields poor results."

Here's how CarePath works

Prescribe in clinic

The device is shipped directly to patient’s home

Patient urinates through the handheld device

It captures flow rate, frequency, volume and sends the data securely to you

You use the data to inform your patient of treatment decisions at  follow-up

With CarePath, testing for BPH doesn’t have to rely on testing at your office, or for patients to recall symptoms later.

"Until CarePath, urinary symptom assessment relied on cumbersome in-office tests. CarePath provides real-time data through a simple at-home solution, helping us determine the right treatment based on the patient's daily symptoms in their home environment."
